I am apparently obsessed with (a) Depression 2.0, (b) the Appalling Sarah Palin, (c) the GOP's circular firing squad, and (d) perfectly barbecued pork. As normal people must be sick of (b) (even though she's the perfect emblem for everything wrong with contemporary American political life and thus the Gift that Keeps on Giving), and contemplation of (c) is pure schadenfreude on my part, and sharing (d) is unfortunately impossible online as well as fattening, my work on (a) will continue apace. Just remember "Some Defunct Economist" may be defunct, but he is not a professional economist, just semi-literate.
