Still living in Nixonland, I suppose. The day after the 2004 election I greeted everyone with: "Welcome to the fourth term of the Nixon Administration." Is it bad to feel momentarily amused that I pegged it right?
With McCain, we'll get the fifth term of Nixon, and Palin is the pure distillation of Spiro Agnew's hottest rhetoric, repackaged for the post-modern era, and with similar ethical behavior patterns.
