I love Minnesota.
Despite the fact Minnesota has extremely high voter turnout rates, I waited at the polls for only two minutes. This included the time it took me to change my voter registration from my old precinct to the new one.
I can't even imagine the nightmare some others are experiencing today in Virginia, Georgia, Ohio, and Florida.
Seeing stories about the long waits, and watching the inundated polls in other states, these things remind me why being a citizen of Minnesota is a wonderful thing. Yeah, the winters are, uh, interesting, but government here really makes an effort to do things right.
