Polls Say Up With Obama

Lots of analysis, summarized as follows:

Polls Paint Bleak Map for McCain Campaign. This is probably why the campaign is finger-pointing, ass-covering, etc.

Also, Dan Balz at the Washington Post notes that McCain faces a tough road the rest of the way.

In some of the more interesting, and in a way, for a liberal like me, unsettling, news, Obama is making inroads among those who voted for BUSH (?!) in '04.

The Wall Street Journal says McCain and Obama are even in Florida. But the St. Petersburg Times doesn't agree, saying Obama is up 7.

At any rate, for a really thorough overview of the blow-by-blow, always rely on Nate Silver at FiveThirtyEight.com. He says McCain is on "life support."

Is it telling that the only major news outlet that doesn't have a electoral map showing the projected electoral votes over 270 for Obama is FoxNews?
